This piece started as an acrylic painting on panel board, which I then scanned and finished in Procreate on my iPad. My original intent was to figure out on the iPad how to finish the real-life painting, but I liked the digital result so much that I never bothered going back to do it! This is a robot of my own design, heavily inspired by the earlier robots produced for Horikawa of Japan in the early sixties.
